Customized Service and Pricing

Pricing for preventive maintenance is based on the number of units serviced per visit.  The Gym Doctor can customize a preventive maintenance program to fit your facilities budget while fulfilling your maintenance needs.  Please see Pricing Summary section below.

 

24-48 Hour Response Time

Response time for any service call will be 24 to 48 hours of receiving the request from the facility named on the Preventative Maintenance Service Agreement for the term of the agreement.

The Preventative Maintenance Checklist provided below identifies the inspections, adjustments and procedures, which will be performed on each piece of designated equipment during each service visit.

TREADMILLS

The Gym Doctor Treadmill Preventative Maintenance

  • INSPECT FRAME & ALL WELDS
  • ALIGN RUNNING BELT – CLEAN AND LUBE IF APPLICABLE
  • VACUUM, CLEAR UNIT THROUGHOUT
  • INSPECT LOWER ELECTRONICS, CLEAN AND ADJUST WHEN NECESSARY
  • CLEAN DRIVE MOTOR AIR INTAKES AND FANS
  • INSPECT DRIVE BELT FOR WEAR AND PROPER TENSION
  • PERFORM FULL OPERATIONAL UNIT TEST
  • CHECK LIFT CALIBRATION SETTINGS

STATIONARY BIKES

  • CHECK CONTROL BOARD FUNCTION AND CLEAN
  • INSPECT TENSION BELT FOR WEAR IF APPLICABLE
  • CLEAN AND LUBRICATE CHAIN IF APPLICABLE
  • INSPECT DRIVE BELT/CHAIN TENSION SYSTEM (MIN. TO MAX.)
  • INSPECT ALL BEARINGS, FREEWHEEL AND CHAIN DRIVE SPROCKET
  • CHECK PEDAL ASSEMBLY AND TIGHTEN IF NECESSARY
  • TIGHTEN ALL BOLTS, SCREWS AND INSPECT WELDS
  • CLEAN OVERALL INTERIOR/EXTERIOR OF UNIT AND TEST

CROSS TRAINERS

The Gym Doctor Cross Trainer Maintenance

  • CHECK ALL RESISTANCE LEVELS (MIN. TO MAX.)
  • PERFORM FULL OPERATIONAL UNIT TEST
  • INSPECT ALL BEARINGS, BOLTS AND MISCELLANEOUS HARDWARE
  • CLEAN OVER INTERIOR/EXTERIOR OF UNIT AND TEST

WEIGHT MACHINES

  • INSPECT ALL CABLES
  • CLEAN AND LUBRICATE GUIDE RODS, CARRIAGE ASSEMBLY & PULLEYS
  • INSPECT ALL BOLTS, BEARING AND MISCELLANEOUS HARDWARE
  • TEST OVERALL OPERATION OF UNIT

STAIR CLIMBERS

  • CHECK ALL RESISTANCE LEVELS (MIN. TO MAX.)
  • PERFORM FULL OPERATIONAL UNIT TEST
  • INSPECT STEP DRIVE COMPONENTS
  • INSPECT ALL BEARINGS, BOLTS AND MISCELLANEOUS HARDWARE
  • CLEAN OVERALL INTERIOR/EXTERIOR OF UNIT AND TEST

ROWING MACHINES
